Tendencias en la investigación sobre cadenas de valor en la agricultura: Un análisis bibliométrico

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar un análisis bibliométrico de tendencias en la investigación sobre las cadenas de valor en la agricultura. Para el efecto se consideraron artículos publicados en revistas indexadas en la base de datos de Scopus entre el 2006 y 2025. La búsqueda de datos se delimitó a los términos de cadena de valor y agricultura, el tamaño de muestra fue de 270 artículos después de aplicar el método Prisma. El análisis se realizó mediante el software Bibliometrix y VOSviewer considerando los indicadores de cantidad, calidad e impacto. Los resultados reflejan un crecimiento exponencial a partir del 2016. Entre los países con mayor producción científica destacan Estados Unidos y la India seguidos por el Reino Unido. Los artículos con mayor número de citas están relacionados con temas como: cadenas de valor en la bioeconomía y adopción de tecnologías por parte de pequeños agricultores. Se concluye que existen temas emergentes relacionados con la producción de la agricultura y su desarrollo, combinando integralmente a pequeños productores del sector.
